Great B & B

This was actually our first time staying in a B & B and I think has really spoiled us for what to expect in one. We were stopping in Grand Forks on our way to Kelowna and had found them on Trip Advisor. We weren't really sure what to expect as we drove up the street and finally found them. Our GPS took us somewhere else because it didn't recognize the street is new. The room was spacious and very homey. The bathroom was wonderful. Don't have a shower that good at home. They spared no expense in the quality of the way the whole house was completed or furnished. Sean & Kathy were so incredible. (We also thoroughly enjoyed there 4 month old Labradoodle, Sadie) They wanted to know what we wanted for breakfast. We wanted to share an omelet and some of Kathy's special banana bread french toast. All I can say is WOW! Fresh fruit bowl to start, great bacon with our omelet and french toast and Kathy served a buttermilk syrup that was to die for. I'm hoping that she will send me the recipe. We highly recommend spending time with them if you're in the area. You will NOT be disappointed!

“Highly recommended”

This purpose-built B&B just opened recently. It was designed with the comfort of guests in mind. We were greeted by the friendly owner, Sean, and shown to our room(Romance suite). The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom was sumptuous, with a walk-in multi-head shower and soaker tub. Guests are encouraged to make use of the lower level featuring a great room with several games tables, a reading nook & large screen TV and a kitchen with snacks and beverages. Sean cooked amazing breakfasts with a luxurious touch - fine china, Irish Cream for the wonderful coffee, fresh fruit and a hot entree. We weren't able to meet Kathy but she had left a welcome packet of her own cookies - those sugar cookies should be illegal! Hope we get a chance to go back. Stayed January 2014, traveled on business

“Amazing B&B”

5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2014 We travelled from Ontario to Vancouver and then drove to Nelson stopping in Grand Forks over night. Found this B&B and were amazed the minute we stepped into the house. Amenities were over the top. Service was fabulous. Although Kathy was in Alberta during our stay, Sean did a great job all on his own! He gave us advice on where to eat dinner which was great as well. I was extremely tired and slept like I was in my own bed. Amazing view and beautiful house. I would love to come back. Room Tip: Both rooms were equally beautiful. “You Won't Wanna Leave Here!”

5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2013 Had a completely amazing time at Noble House Suites and am already planning my next stay. Was just passing through Grand Forks this time but honestly this hidden gem should be a holiday destination in its own right. Firstly the hosts are truly wonderful. Secondly, the house itself is gorgeous with spacious suites on the first floor. There's a bunch of stuff to entertain: snooker table, ping pong, a bar, tvs, fireplace. A theatre and spa/gym weren't completed yet but they did look amazing (another two reasons I've got to come back!). Just tell Kathy what you'd like for breakfast. Upon suggestion I chose buttermilk pancakes and would HIGHLY recommend. I hesitate to get into too much detail or gush as much as I want as I find it can take away from the magic of staying someplace like this but I will review again after I've stayed in the summer (hopefully with my niece and nephew as this place would be PERFECT for kids there's just so much to do) and enjoyed Noble House with balmy sunshine and river tubing. Sean and Kathy are generous hosts and without them I wouldn't have the unexpected fondness for their B&B and Grand Forks that I have now! Stayed November 2013, traveled solo
